This building is a combination of church and missle launcher. It is a comment on the blurring of the line between religion and politics and the danger inherent in the belief that you have God on your side. Although the imagery is strictly Western, the concept can apply to any group of religious fanatics. The title is a bit of a play on words. In Roman Catholicism, the missal is the book containing the texts for all the masses which will be performed throughout the year.

The structure is primarily made out of wood and the interior contains a scene of an advancing army coming over a hill toward the viewer. The landscape is desolate with what remains of a burnt forest surrounding the soldiers. The steeple is a missile launcher which contains a rocket that slowly rotates with red stripes reminiscent of a barber's pole. The tip of the rocket pops through the top of the structure. The 3D viewer contains a close-up of an old tank shot at an angle which makes it look like it might run right over you.
