ARTIST'S STATEMENT |
My sculptures serve as contemporary metaphors that engage the viewer on many levels. They reveal an eye for detail and a sense of the narrative moment. My goal is to draw the viewer into my world and to make the experience of sharing my work an intimate one. A fascination with religion, science and strange belief systems pervade my work. Political and social overtones meander through the visual landscape. By juxtaposing 2 and 3 dimensional imagery, I try to create a unique world view which is paradoxically both surreal and real. |
